Here is a super quick guide for drawing the skull from memory from the side... This is just a snippet of information taken from the SKULL ANATOMY 101 course!
A few important takeaways would be that:
1.) The egg is, of course, the most important form here, and if you are a little shoddy when it comes to creating quick clean lines, eggs and circles well then, my video on beginner drawing should get you up and running!
Learn the fundamentals right here!
2.) The use of thirds and halves are super helpful when constructing, not just the skull but also, the face!
3.) Simple Shapes are key here! Using them to establish a foundation and then building on top of that is really the goal for any skull, figure, car, house type construction; start simple and then move from that base...
4.) Once you understand the simple construction you can then add or subtract as you wish; use that artistic license!
5.) Shape design is a massive help when it comes to, well, shapes... But this a topic that can take up hours of content so just remember to vary and change the shapes, lines and ideas you use to keep your drawings, sculpts, paintings etc fresh! Its the straight lines and curved lines idea I mention in step 5 of the skull construction above...
Aaaaand yeah, that's about it for this section! Thanks for reading and like i said, if you want more info you can checkout the SKULL ANATOMY 101 course for the full lowdown on all things skull related!
